The Prackwieser family has owned the Gump Hof, whose building dates to 1546, for more than 200 years.

Markus Prackwieser took over the family winery in 2000.

He works steep vineyards from 400 to 850 meters, drawing inspiration from the Wachau, Burgundy and the Loire.
