History
The Cantina San Paolo, Kellerei St. Pauls, was founded in 1907 by thirty-six winegrowers of Appiano, in the Oltradige — the most important wine commune of Alto Adige — and is among the region's most authentic cooperatives.
Today around two hundred members farm some 185 hectares under integrated management, on vineyards ranging from 300 to 700 metres with widely varied exposures and soils. In recent years the historic co-op has undergone a marked renewal, with a new technical and commercial team, and is especially known for its Pinot Bianco.
