History

Founded on 25 April 1893 by 38 winegrowers as the first winemaking cooperative in Alto Adige and in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.

It remains the oldest cooperative winery in Alto Adige.

In 2008 it entered a lasting alliance with Cantina Terlano, pooling the two cooperatives' growers and know-how while keeping distinct terroirs.
