History
Villa Travignoli appears in 12th-century records of the Vallombrosa monastery; the Busi counts acquired it around 1800.
Travignoli won an award for its Chianti in 1924, and Clemente Busi helped found the Chianti Putto Consortium in 1927.
Giovanni Busi, an oenology graduate, began estate bottling around 1980 with Giacomo Tachis consulting, and runs it today.
