History
Tenuta La Fuga lies in the Camigliano area, west-south-west of Montalcino. Originally part of the Camigliano estate, the roughly 75-acre property was split off in the early 1980s and developed over two decades.
In February 2002 it was bought by the Folonari family — the Tuscan wine dynasty behind Ruffino and, later, Nozzole — as the smallest of their estates.
Its 9.8 hectares, cooled by the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea, make Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino.
