History
The Terzuoli family have worked the land since the 17th century. Their Santa Giulia farm was founded in 1946 by Roberto's grandparents Gino and Giuseppina; when the estate was later divided, half remained Santa Giulia (with Lido) and the other half became Sassodisole.
Bruno and Graziella Terzuoli built the Sassodisole winery in the 1970s.
It is run today by Roberto Terzuoli, an agronomist who worked for Franco Biondi-Santi from 1997 to 2005, with his wife Erika; the estate makes Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino and Orcia.
