History
The Milanese entrepreneur Giuseppe Passoni and his wife Franca acquired the 18th-century former convent of La Mormoraia, north of San Gimignano, at the end of the 1980s.
After careful renovation begun in 1990, the farmhouse and first cellar were inaugurated in 1995.
Their son Alessandro has led the company since 2012.
The estate has been certified organic since 2016.
