Fabrizio Niccolaini founded the farm in 1985, well before natural wine was a movement, working it with his wife Patrizia Bartolini.

From 2009 to 2019 Patrizia's daughter Francesca Sfondrini and partners ran the estate.

In 2019 Fabrizio returned after a decade away, now joined by his children Vasco and Tosca.
