Cesare Gianaroli started the farm at Castelvetro di Modena in 1951; his grandson Mirco Gianaroli runs it today on the vines Cesare planted in 1950, all certified organic.
They grow only native varieties, making the Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro and a Pignoletto from land to cellar by organic method.
