History
La Màgia was founded in 1974 when its vineyards were planted, on an ancient south-Montalcino property along a paved Roman road, overlooking the Sant'Antimo abbey and facing Monte Amiata.
In 1979 the estate was bought by Harald Schwarz and his wife Gabriella Zeitler, from Alto Adige, who were among the first Brunello producers to estate-bottle their wine.
Certified organic and biodynamic after decades of work, La Màgia is run by the second generation, Fabian Schwarz, who succeeded his father in 2005.
