History

Luigi Frangiosa founded La Ciarliana at Montepulciano in 1995, taking up a passion his grandfather had begun fifty years earlier and his father Santo carried on, starting from just two hectares.

Today the estate works over twelve hectares of vineyard, about eight of them given to the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
