History
Gualdo del Re began in 1980 with Nico Rossi, with the first modern harvest in 1982, on land with roots back to the 19th century.
In 2022 the Gestri family acquired the estate; the organic vineyards were once the hunting grounds of the Holy Roman Emperors.
