History

Luca D'Attoma, a leading Tuscan wine consultant, and Elena Celli bought unplanted rocky land at Riparbella in 2000 and founded Duemani ('two hands') in 2001.

From the start they farmed organically and biodynamically (BioAgriCert and Demeter certified), focused on Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot.

The flagship 'Duemani' is 100% Cabernet Franc; the estate was acquired by the Tenute del Leone Alato group in 2023.
