History
Fattoria Corzano e Paterno was founded in 1969 by the Swiss architect Wendelin Gelpke on two hills just outside the Chianti Classico line at San Casciano in Val di Pesa, and is run by the Gelpke and Goldschmidt families.
The 200-hectare farm makes a range of Chianti and Tuscan reds alongside a Trebbiano white, a rose and a sweet wine, and has made sheep's-milk cheese since 1992.
