History
The Logi family's story on the land at San Gimignano began in the 1950s, when a young Mario worked the fields, building first a farm and then a wine estate.
Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara became a winery in 2002, when the youngest brother Alessio Logi, then studying oenology, drew the family into wine.
Farmed organically and centred on the native Vernaccia grape, the estate — with its Selvabianca and the L'Albereta Riserva — has helped show that San Gimignano's whites can rank among Italy's best.
