History
The di Napoli Rampolla family have held the estate at Panzano since 1739, with cellars going back to the thirteenth century below the old castle.
Converted wholly to biodynamics in 1994, from about forty-two hectares they make some ninety thousand bottles: the Chianti Classico and the celebrated Sammarco and Vigna d'Alceo.
