History
Cantina Mazzarri is a traditional Elba estate at Lacona, in the comune of Capoliveri, whose first wines date back to the late 1800s.
It works the island's classic grapes for Elba DOC whites and reds, bottling an Elba Bianco and the two Elba Rosso cuvees Vignanuova and Vignavecchia.
Its sweet wines are the heart of the house: the celebrated Aleatico Passito dell'Elba - the grape that became Tuscany's Elba Aleatico Passito DOCG - and an Elba Bianco Passito.
