History

In 2000 Giovanni Folonari founded the Tenute Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari winery together with his father Ambrogio, with the aim of producing quality wines across several of Tuscany's most important zones.

That same year the Campo al Mare estate was established in Bolgheri, planted mainly to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot on land close to the Tyrrhenian coast.
