Stelio and Maria Luisa Verzera, young growers, founded Vigneti Verzera at Gesso above Messina, investing in their own land on the hills over the Strait.

From about three hectares of vineyard they make the Faro, such as Gypsos, and white Terre Siciliane of Nerello vinified in white.
