Tonnino (Baglio Ceuso)

History

The Tonnino family's viticulture story began in the 1950s when Paolo Tonnino, working the countryside around Alcamo, began acquiring land in the Belice valley; the winery in its current form was founded in 2004, with its first bottled vintage released in 2006.

In 2020 the family acquired Baglio Ceuso, an 1860s agricultural estate near Alcamo, restoring the historic barrel cellar and cement vinification tanks and reopening it in 2023 as the winery's home, now farming 120 certified-organic hectares across ten labels.
