Terre di Noto

History

Terre di Noto was founded in 1989 by the enologist Nino Di Marco, drawn to the vineyards of Noto and Pachino and their potential for high-quality wine.

The estate at Contrada Burgio Coste Fredde in Noto now runs to about 35 hectares of specialised vineyard with its own cellar, working mainly Nero d'Avola and Moscato alongside international varieties.

A member of the SOStain sustainability programme since 2015, it completed a three-year conversion and has farmed fully organically since 2018, across the Noto, Eloro and Sicilia DOP zones.
