History
Tenute Orestiadi was created in 2008 at Gibellina, in the Valle del Belice, by a group of growers gathered in a cooperative together with the Fondazione Orestiadi — part of the long effort to rebuild the valley after the devastating earthquake of 1968.
Across some hundred and twenty hectares farmed organically and sustainably, the estate champions Sicily's native grapes — Nero d'Avola, Grillo, Catarratto, Zibibbo, Perricone and Frappato — pairing wine with contemporary art in a cellar that doubles as a museum.
