Tenuta Rasocolmo

History

Brothers Francesco and Natale Paolo Giostra Reitano, together with a handful of young entrepreneurs and farmers, revived the abandoned Rasocolmo estate in 2004, a farm that had been active since the early 20th century on the promontory overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands.

Francesco replanted Faro DOC vineyards and restored the old family farmhouse, reviving a winemaking tradition on a stretch of Messina coastline once known for its ancient wine-growing vocation.
