Tenuta Monte Ilice works the steep terraces of the Monte Ilice cinder cone at Trecastagni, on the southeast side of Etna, run by Giuseppe Brancatelli since 2011.

It makes Etna Rosso from old Nerello Mascalese on that high, abrupt slope.
