History
The Ventura family has farmed land at contrada Cirito near Chiaramonte Gulfi since the 1600s, the same era in which the nearby city of Vittoria was founded, making the estate one of the longest-held family holdings in the Cerasuolo di Vittoria zone.
Now run by Sebastiano Ventura across ten generations of family ownership, the estate produces Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG and Vittoria DOC wines using traditional, minimal-intervention winemaking with native yeasts.
