Nino Caravaglio inherited about 2 hectares and began his project in 1989, growing organically on Salina.
The estate spans about 20 hectares across Salina, Lipari and Panarea.
He made the first dry Malvasia of the Aeolian Islands in 2010, alongside the classic passito.
