History

Bosco Falconeria is a 17-hectare organic farm in the hills of Partinico, about 60 km from Palermo, bought by the family in the early 1930s and farmed by them since 1933.

It was among the first estates in Sicily to convert to organic agriculture, beginning in 1985 and certified in 1989, and is now run by Natalia Simeti, the fourth generation (the Simeti-Taylor family).

Less than half of the land is vineyard - native Catarratto (Comune and Extra Lucido) and Nero d'Avola - with wines from spontaneous fermentation in steel, minimal sulphur and no filtration, alongside olives, pulses, vegetables and fruit.
