History
Giovanni Montisci turned to the tiny plots inherited from his wife's family and bottled his first wine from the 2004 vintage.
He works entirely by hand with minimal intervention, spontaneous native-yeast fermentation and gentle extraction.
The wines age in large old oak casks; the Riserva Franzisca comes from vines about 85 years old.
