History

The Gabbas winery was founded in 1974 in the heart of Barbagia; the family have made wine in Sardinia for generations.

Giuseppe Gabbas, a law graduate, replanted vineyards in the late 1990s and built a new cellar for estate bottling, becoming one of the island's most admired growers.

The Cannonau Classico 'Dule' is the estate's benchmark.
