History
The cooperative was founded in 1960 when Sulcis growers, coordinated by the ETFAS land-reform board, joined to vinify and market their grapes.
From 1984 the estate made Terre Brune, the first Sardinian wine aged in barrique, with the consulting oenologist Giacomo Tachis, after whom the winery street is named.
Carignano del Sulcis remains the flagship, from old alberello vines on coastal sands.
