History

Cantina Santa Maria La Palma was founded in 1959 by growers of the Alghero land reform in the Nurra, and has become one of Sardinia's most important cooperatives.

Its Vermentino 'Aragosta' is among Italy's best-selling Vermentino, alongside the Akenta and Le Bombarde lines.
