Sara Spanu and her husband founded Binzamanna at Martis in the Anglona in the early 2000s, to protect the landscape and revive old native grapes.

Over about twenty-two hectares they make the Cannonau di Sardegna, such as Rentiles, and Isola dei Nuraghi of Bovale and Cagnulari.
