History

Cosimo Varvaglione began making wine in 1921 at Pulsano; his son Angelo built the first cellar at Leporano, and the family is now in its fourth generation.

From about a hundred and fifty owned hectares and affiliated growers they make some five million bottles of Salento wines from native grapes, sold in seventy countries.
