History

The Paolo Leo winery was founded in 1989 in San Donaci, in the Brindisi province of Salento, on family roots reaching back to the early 20th century, when the family first began vinifying its grapes.

The estate runs two cellars, its San Donaci headquarters in the heart of Salice Salentino DOC and a second opened in 2020 near Primitivo di Manduria DOC at Monteparano, working chiefly the native Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia.
