History
Casa Primis was founded in 2003 in Stornarella, in the province of Foggia, by two friends, agronomist Nicola Selano and oenologist Gianni Mauriello, who set out to make single-variety wines from grapes grown exclusively on their own estate.
The name Primis nods to a 'primordial,' simple and natural approach to viticulture and winemaking; the estate has held organic certification for several years, favoring modern viticulture technique guided by local growing knowledge.
