History
Cantina La Marchesa was founded in 1988 at Lucera, an ancient town of the Capitanata in the heart of the Tavoliere delle Puglie, at the foot of the Daunian Apennines.
Owned by Sergio Lucio Grasso and Marika Maggi, it works 14 hectares gathered around the cellar so that grapes reach the winery within minutes of harvest, preserving aroma and acidity.
Its focus is the native grapes of the Cacc'e Mmitte di Lucera DOC, above all Nero di Troia and Fiano, farmed with rigorous attention through the whole chain.
