History

Cantine Barsento was founded in 1969 in Noci, near Alberobello, with what was then a forward-looking mission: to showcase quality wine from the Noci area alone.

For more than fifty years the estate has focused on native Apulian grapes, and its labels sit consistently among the region's benchmarks.

Its most distinctive feature is an underground cellar of roughly 1,000 square metres carved 13-15 metres down into the limestone rock, with tunnels open to visitors.
