History

Antica Masseria Jorche traces its winemaking back to the 1920s in Torricella, when great-grandfather Giovanni Gianfreda ran one of the village's first 'palamientu' (traditional wine-pressing rooms) in the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria zone.

The estate is today run by sisters Dalila and Emanuela Gianfreda, the fifth generation of the family, continuing production centered on native Primitivo and Negroamaro from the Torricella countryside.
