History

Arnaldo Rivera, the schoolteacher-mayor of Castiglione Falletto, gathered twenty-two growers to found the cooperative Terre del Barolo in 1958.

Its roughly three hundred members now farm some six hundred hectares across the whole appellation, and the cellar bottles Barolo from every village, including the Arnaldo Rivera single-cru line.
