The Rivetto estate was founded in 1902 and settled at its site between Sinio and Serralunga d'Alba in 1938.

Enrico Rivetto, the fourth generation, joined full-time in 1999 and began converting to organic farming in 2009.

Organic certification came in 2016 and the estate became a biodynamic, biodiverse farm, a pioneer of Demeter certification in the Barolo zone.
