History

Carlo Platinetti farmed vines around Ghemme in the early 20th century; his grandson Mario Platinetti founded the estate in the 1970s and planted the Ronco al Maso hill.

It is now run by Mario's children Stefano, Maria and Andrea Fontana, with a fourth generation joining.
