History

In 1974 Piero Palladino acquired the Azienda Vinicola Palladino at Serralunga d'Alba, entrusting its management to his cousin Maurilio. The winery occupies a 19th-century former convent that once housed the historic Cappellano cellar.

The estate's 30 hectares are parcelled across the San Bernardo, Ornato, Parafada, Gabutti and Serra vineyards of Serralunga, a commune known for its structured, long-lived Barolo.

San Bernardo yields Palladino's signature Riserva, while Parafada and Ornato are prized for their exposure and finesse.
