History

Marenco was founded in 1925 on Michele Marenco's dream of bottling his own wine from the Bagnario valley of Strevi; his son Giuseppe built the Borgo Alto cellar in 1956.

The estate is a specialist of the sweet wines of the Alto Monferrato, above all the Strevi Moscato passito 'Scrapona' and the Brachetto d'Acqui passito 'Pineto'.
