History
Icardi was founded in 1914 when Lino Icardi began a small wine production at Castiglione Tinella, on the border between the Asti and Alba zones, at first for family use.
Over more than a century the estate grew to 50 hectares and around 360,000 bottles, ranging across southern Piedmont's appellations from Moscato d'Asti to Barbaresco and Barolo.
Herbicide-free for over twenty years, Icardi is now fully organic and made Italy's first certified-organic Moscato d'Asti, La Rosa Selvatica, in 2013.
