History
Gigi Rosso, a well-known oenologist, founded his winery at Castiglione Falletto in the early 1970s. His early Barolo — and later Barbaresco — quickly won critical acclaim.
The estate's Arione holding, at the southern border of Serralunga d'Alba at around 400 metres, provides Nebbiolo of finesse and ageing potential.
Named for its founder, the winery is now led by his son Maurizio and grandson Andreas, continuing a traditional approach.
