History
The family's wine roots go back to Stefano Gallino (born 1886), a producer of Barbera and Nebbiolo; the trade passed from father to son through Felice, known as Licin.
Filippo Gallino (born 1939) founded the estate under his own name in 1961.
In 1972 the winery was the first in Piedmont to make a 100% varietal Roero Arneis, helping revive the forgotten white.
Today it is run by Filippo's children, winemaker Gianni and Laura.
