History
The Morra family's story began in the mid-20th century with their first land at Verduno; grandfather Domenico and father Antonio grew grapes and sold them to other wineries.
In 2006 Diego Morra, born in 1984 and raised among the family vines, built a cellar to bring winemaking in-house, becoming the third generation and first to bottle the family's own wine.
The estate now spans 30 hectares across Verduno, La Morra and Roddi, with its identity built on Barolo Monvigliero — the family holds about 4 hectares of that grand cru — and Verduno Pelaverga.
