History

Trained by Beppe Colla at Prunotto and a co-founder of Conterno-Fantino in 1982, Diego Conterno left to start his own estate, established in 2003, taking with him a prized plot in Ginestra, one of Monforte's top crus.

He and his son Stefano farm about 8 hectares organically at Monforte d'Alba, fermenting on native yeasts for a traditionally styled, translucent Barolo.
