History

Piero Rapetti bought the Cornarea hill in 1974 and, with his family, planted 15 hectares of vines between 1975 and 1978, betting on the then-rare Roero Arneis.

The estate is now run by brothers Gian Nicola Bovone, an enologist, and Pierfranco Bovone.
