History

Clarea was founded in 1999 by three partners to protect Valsusa viticulture, farming the stone-terraced vineyards of Chiomonte and Giaglione, the highest in Piedmont.

It makes Avanà, Becquét, Baratuciat and Valsusa DOC wines and serves as a shared cellar for other Val di Susa growers.
